Bible Study

Bible Study is a great place to learn more about God’s word in a fun, low-pressure environment.  Whether you are new to reading the Bible or have been reading for years, we all learn something new and benefit from each others’ observations!  We often watch a video to kickstart our learning and then consider a few questions arising from it.  Our Bible study group meets Wednesday nights online via Zoom at 6:30 p.m.  This group meets via Zoom and you can join using the link below or contact the church for other options.

Book Club

Book Club – Our book club enthusiasts like to read and discuss books with a Christian theme that help us explore our faith and how to live it out more faithfully. Our fall 2024 book club selection is “Forgive: Why Should I?  How can I?” by the late Rev. Timothy Keller. Our discussions will be held on the following Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. via Zoom.  Our first meeting will be October 15th and the balance of dates are as follows: Oct. 29th, November 12th & 26th and December 10th.  There is still time to join the group, but we would ask you to purchase your own book as our group order has already been placed.  Books can be purchased from amazon here: https://www.amazon.ca/Forgive-Why-Should-How-Can/.  To join our weekly discussion click on the Zoom Link below on the indicated time and dates  or  contact the church for other options.

Choir

Choir – If you enjoy singing we invite you to join our choir. No previous singing experience is necessary, nor do you need to know how to read sheet music. We are a friendly bunch that enjoy learning new songs and singing during our weekly worship service. Our choir rehearsals are held Thursday afternoons from 3:15 – 4:45 p.m. in-person at our church premises at 1545 Monaghan Road (at McDonnel). For more information or if you have questions, please contact our Music Director, Douglas Schalin at dschalin@sympatico.ca.

Prayer Group
